We foster for 9 Lives Rescue, and all adoptions happen through them. If you’re interested in my kitties, you are welcome to contact me and arrange for a visit to see if you are compatible. You should also visit the Adopt page of the 9 Lives Rescue website and fill out an application.
As the 9 Lives website says, we are particular about who adopts our cats and kittens. Applications ask for references and those will be followed up. We are also committed to approving applications only if you seem to be a good match for the cat or kitten you prefer. Most of all, a good match is essential for giving the cat or kitten – and you – the “happily ever after” they and you deserve.
Our experience has taught us that cats are not the “loners” that most people picture. They are loving and form deep bonds, with each other and with their humans. Strong bonds are formed within family groups, and for that reason we give priority to potential adopters who are willing and able to adopt at least two kittens together. The kittens will be happier – and we believe you will too. Kittens will comfort each other, groom each other and sleep together, and form lifelong bonds. They will also play together and their antics are so entertaining to watch!
Adoption fees for 9 Lives Rescue is in line with other area rescues. Fees cover only a small part of rescuing and raising these kittens and cats.
Kittens and cats we currently have available. (None currently, as we are taking a break)
